Professional Development Grants

The PCOM Alumni Association’s Professional Development Grants help recent graduates invest in their careers by helping to fund conferences, courses, training, and more.

Twice each fiscal year, the PCOM Alumni Association awards grants to alumni who graduated within the last 10 years to pursue professional development opportunities, supporting alumni growth and development during the early, often challenging years following graduation.

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration, individuals must have graduated from a PCOM program within the last 10 years. Alumni from all programs and locations are encouraged to apply. No late applications will be accepted.

Application Periods

Alumni who have graduated within the last 10 years will be sent application instructions via email at the start of each application period. If you do not receive an application, please contact alumni@pcom.edu.

  • Summer Professional Development Grants: July 17-August 14, 2026
  • Winter Professional Development Grants: February 5-26, 2027

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of activities are not eligible for funding?

Professional development grants are not used to cover degree program costs, exam fees, or basic operations support.

If I’ve applied for the grant in the past, can I apply again?

You are not disqualified from receiving the grant if you have applied previously and been awarded the funds. We encourage all alumni to continue to apply

What expenses for professional development are covered?

The awardee can use the money to cover conference registrations, program fees, and travel expenses.
